Michael Moon is a cardiac surgeon at the University of Alberta, based at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton. He is the Director of Aortic Surgery and the Fellowship Director in Cardiac Surgery. He has an interest in clinical and academic focus on complex aortic disease, endovascular, hybrid procedures, and surgical education. Dr. Moon completed advanced fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic. He has led and contributed to numerous multicenter clinical trials and has an extensive publication record in cardiovascular surgery.
