Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgeon at the University Hospital of Padua, Italy. He completed his training with a clinical fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, and a research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests focus on congenital heart surgery, the Ross procedure, valve repair, cardiovascular tissue engineering, and surgical simulation. He serves as Associate Statistical Editor of The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and is actively involved in international collaborative research through the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association (ECHSA) and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS).
