Bio:
Dr. Francesca Sperotto, MD, PhD, is a Pediatric Cardiologist and Researcher at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. After completing her Medical School and training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Padua, Italy, she further specialized in Pediatric Cardiology with focus on cardiac critical care and advanced cardiac imaging at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where she is now faculty and Medical Imaging Director of the Structural Heart Program. Along her training, she also earned a PhD in Rare Diseases focusing on Resuscitation Science and ECMO. Dr. Sperotto also serves as Deputy Chair of the Cardiac Section of the European Society of Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC) and as Associate Editor for the European Journal of Pediatrics. Dr. Sperotto’s research focuses on the intersection of cardiac critical care, advanced cardiac imaging, and structural imaging for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.
