Consultant cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London, UK, and at the University of Rijeka, Croatia
Dr Brida is Chair of the ESC Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), Chair of the ESC ACHD Study Group for Central and South-Eastern Europe, and leads the ESC Scientific Documents Committee. She holds dual affiliation, i.e. consultant cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London, UK, and at the University of Rijeka, Croatia. She has long-standing expertise in ACHD with specific interest in ACHD heart failure and echocardiography and is publishing extensively in the field. Dr Brida serves as an Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal and Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Cardiology: Congenital Heart Disease. She plays a leading role in the clinical and academic development of ACHD in Central and South-Eastern Europe and is the founder and director of the international ACHD Academy.
