Adj A/Prof Vitaly A. Sorokin is presently Head and Senior Consultant of Division of Adult Cardiac Surgery, Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) at National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS). He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Department of Surgery at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), Programme Director of NUHCS Aortic Centre, and Principal Investigator of Cardiovascular Single Cell Research Laboratory in NUS. His specialty as a cardiac surgeon is focused on aortic surgery. Combining clinical service for aortic disease patients with strong research programme is the main objective driving his enthusiasm to develop the Aortic Surgery Speciality.
