Worawong Slisatkorn is the Chief of the Division of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Mahidol University, Bangkok.
He received Thai Thoracic Surgery Board certification in 1999 and further trained at Utrecht Medical Center University, the Netherlands (2004), followed by a Cardio-Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA (2005).
Dr. Slisatkorn’s clinical and research interests focus on thoracic aortic surgery, including aortic root and arch procedures, as well as endovascular surgery. Under his leadership, the Aortic Team at Siriraj Hospital performs approximately 200 thoracic and 100 abdominal aortic procedures annually. The Division of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery also conducts over 1,600 cardiac operations each year, establishing it as a leading center for cardiac and thoracic care in Thailand.
